In May 2021, the Serbian-American Friendship Congress launched the Fifth Cycle of the Serbian-American Leaders Academy. This program brings together young, educated individuals interested in expanding their knowledge about Serbian-American relations. Throughout this cycle, participants have had the opportunity to engage in lectures by distinguished experts on topics such as:
- Serbian-American relations and U.S. policy
- The U.S. electoral system
- The U.S. economy
- The history of the U.S. and the role of religion
- The U.S. military
- Lobbying, culture, and public diplomacy in the U.S.
In addition to lectures, participants engaged in debates with speakers, exploring ways to improve Serbian-American relations. These interactive sessions are crucial to achieving the primary goal of the academy: strengthening and enhancing the relationship between Serbia and the United States.
