Belgrade hosted a major regional event of Rotary International, which, in early October, brought together over 250 participants from 35 countries around the world.
The event was attended by the highest officials of Rotary, headquartered in Chicago: Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick, Past President Jennifer Jones, members of the Board of Directors, representatives of the Rotary Foundation, and regional leaders of this global organization, which, with its 1.4 million members worldwide, has been doing good in the world for 119 years.
Nikola Božić, a member of the Advisory Board of the Congress of Serbian-American Friendship, participated in the organization, and we congratulate him on bringing such an international event to Serbia, as it strengthens our country's position on the international stage.
